An important part of the Foundation's work is building a permanent collection of funds for communities, ensuring that funds grow in perpetuity and continue to support the communities they were established to support.

 

Gifts can be placed into an endowment that is invested over time.  Earnings from donations are used to distribute funds in order to effectively address current and emerging community needs.  Each gift – and all future earnings – is a permanent source of community capital helping do good work forever.

Using the Foundation's flexible shared model of sustainable investment donors have the opportunity to be involved in a particular community by helping to address its most pressing challenges.

 

 

 

Through Western Australian Community Foundation, each donor has a unique giving experience, tailored to suit individual passions and goals.  Gifts of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate or other assets can be accepted by the Foundation.

 

As a donor, you can recommend an area or organisation you would like your gift to support, or you can rely on the Foundation's experience to determine and address the areas of greatest need in a community.
