Preventing domestic violence and abuse through education, awareness and community engagement

Safer Together

  • Empowering Communities through Education and Advocacy

It is every individual’s right to safety, to be treated equally and with respect in their living, working, educational and recreational environments. 'SAFER TOGETHER,' is a comprehensive initiative committed to eradicating Domestic Abuse and Violence through education, advocacy and community engagement. Our multifaceted approach addresses the root causes of abuse, fostering crucial conversations within communities, businesses, schools, and clubs, uniting efforts to stop abuse before it begins.

  • Fathers and Men Leading the Way

We know that everyone needs to be part of the solution, whether you’re a dad, a mum, a manager, a coach or a teacher. As men play a pivotal role in modelling positive examples of masculinity, we look at how society expects men and boys to act. By sharing knowledge and understanding we can create a platform for boys and men to reflect, talk about their mental health, become emotionally aware and feel confident in their choices.

  • Tailored Sessions

Our sessions are tailored to the target audience and can cover the different kinds of coercive control, technology-facilitated abuse, affirmative consent, and the latest coercive control legislation in NSW. We talk about the impact of stress and trauma on individuals, from children to adults, and the importance of talking about people’s family of origin. We equip everyone to step up and not stand by, providing the tools to build healthy respectful relationships. Workshops can be tailored for primary school children, high school students, workplaces, gender specific and mixed sports clubs and community groups.

Benefits to hosting a ‘Safer Together’ session:
