Circle of Security

A 6-week attachment and relationships parenting program designed to build secure connection between Dads and Mums with their children. Can be undertaken one on one via ZOOM or on-site at Women and Children First. Email susan.c@wacf.org.au for availability

Parenting anxious & angry kids Tuesday, 25th June , 10am – 12pm

This program is specific to those parenting children who are anxious, worried or angry. We provide tips on how to manage these overwhelming emotions with your child and build resilience.

3-week program that focuses on understanding the developing brain and the importance of our connections that enable safety and security. A time to come together, listen, learn and elevate our self-care.

Psychoeducation program for primary school children - Contact us for next group dates

An 8-week change, loss and grief education program for primary school aged children. Children who attend the group will learn to understand the grief process, recognise that their feelings and other reactions to loss are normal, develop skills for coping, problem solving and decision making, and build a peer-support network.

Yoga “The Zen in me”

“The Zen In Me” is offering 6-weeks of holistic yoga sessions x 1 hr sessions. Connect on a deeper level to enjoy self care in the form of yoga, wellness tips and mindfulness. Reset yourself, minimising stress, anxiety and self-doubt

This 6-week program is for women living in, or who have left an abusive relationship. It aims to help women understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, highlights the various types of abuse and the cycle of abusive and coercive behaviour. It also covers the impact upon children, shares the local supports available, and guides you through how to build self-esteem and assertiveness. Please note this is a psychoeducation, support group and not group therapy.

International Cooking Classes
April 23rd - May 7th, 11am - 1pm

This is a 3-week cooking course where women from the community come together to enjoy and share different flavours from around the world. Enjoy a shared lunch provided by the team.
